How do investors feel about Opko?

Honestly, what is your point? 

A poll? Really? With the stock below a buck? Spare me. The poll is taken every damn day. It's called the stock price.

I'm happy that you have company in said microcosm. Perhaps next week's loss report, during which the minimum of information will be made available, will change some opinions among the ever dwindling population of like mind. And I even got the point across without using bold font. 

Crooked? I don't know.....ask the SEC.
Shady? Well it would be helpful to know what the gross profit share % actually is, but I presume that would require too much sunlight.
Incompetent? I point to $0.9701, and rest my case.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The stock was near $6 before the 'settlement'. Got into that same zip code during a once in a century revenue windfall, only to fall back to its Frostian orbit when investors realized that all the covid money went to refurbish Phil's Patented Money Incinerator.

The question has been asked of 'the accountant' several times during Quarterly Loss Calls, whereupon he grunted that he'll let us know after Ngenla is up and running as a revenue producer, which it is. What we couldn't see during those answers was the winks he and Frosty exchanged as he garbled a perfunctory reply. Is it a secret? And why the hell do you always deflect attention away from Penumbra Phil? You know as well as I do that Elias didn't cut that deal. The brain trust in Miami did.

As to your reference to scam, it matters little what I think. It's what the market thinks. And I don't think investors have been shy about their opinion. By the way, what do you think happens if Phil continues to drive Opko into his Oblivion Oort Cloud. Merck buys out the EPV asset, Pfizer buys out the Ngenla asset, and the proceeds go to the lawyers running the liquidation. As for ModeX, what you don't know is what Elias told Bill and I when he was asked, "why Opko?" To which he answered, there was no money around for buyouts in 2022. In other words, he and Gary had little choice. The only question that's even remotely relevant right now is: by now, have the holders of the 90 million shares Opko paid for ModeX figured out who their bedfellows actually are?

BTW it matters a lot to your credibility if you actually think Opko is a "scam." Do you think it is, yes or no?

I think I've demonstrated, no, [LFTB: Thank you] I know that I've demonstrated my credibility quite well here thank you. And to the three in management with whom Bill and I spoke. And to Frost in my emails.

I can't do anything about the opinions that many investors have of Frost. He's made his own bed. Let's put it this way: when there has been miserable failures for over a decade, and gross incompetence has resulted in an all time low in the stock price, then it should not be surprising that 1) there are no important active healthcare focused investors in the company and, 2) the view of many who remain invested is, well, not particularly favorable.[LFTB: Understood]

You see, people who have put up their hard earned money get puzzled, then disappointed, then frustrated, then angry when the stewards of their money keep doing the same things that result in poor performance and value destruction.

And if you think you're going to get a sugar coated version of an Opko assessment from Bill, you're going to be disappointed. [LFTB: What ever gave you the idea that I am disappointed in Bill's post?. Bill's are some of the best post on the site. direct and straight forward.] You may object to the language, syntax, diction, or word choice that I employ versus him, but I assure you that our opinions are aligned. In fact, wild Bill has even been more direct with the clown show than I have. You have an objection to me. That is clear. So be it. But thou dost protest too much. Because you're distracting from the only important issue: Frost, from his penny stock shenanigans to his lame-brained deal making, has been a disaster for Opko. And its shareholders, which of course includes himself. As Bill says, he's a foolish and arrogant old man who has given new meaning to cutting off his nose to spite his face. [If you go back a couple of posts I think you'll find Bill's post, "He’s going to do it, he has NO other option. It’s simply a matter of swallowing his pride, admitting failure, and then finally cleaning up his mess."

Your first post in this, um, poll included the following: "Do people feel that Opko is a scam run by crooked, shady, incompetents, or is that just rhetoric?" While that is largely irrelevant, it is worth asking how people feel about Opko. The answer to that is simple: poorer. [LFTB: Irrelevant? We'll have to agree to disagree.]

You often cite that 'only God and Dr Frost....', I'll spare us the rest. It's clear that he's a stubborn, intransigent, lousy CEO. Your observation pertains to what Frost WILL do. But, again, that's not really what we've all, save you, have been saying. Which is, what he SHOULD do. [LFTB: I hope Bill is right, but I understand there is nothing I can do to change Opko's leadership. It is up to God or Dr Frost.]
