Okay, I'll go first with the first thing that comes to mind (while other things are crowding in, but I can't type that fast).
Frost selling or Frost taking it private:
I've been here since the beginning back in 2007. Seems since 2010 or so (can't say for sure just when), people on the Yahoo board have popped up with one meme or another. And then they go. And then some other jokers come up with the same shit. And then they go. Some even are bold enough to project a date when one or the other scenario unfolds. Dire warnings, price for the event. Lately it seems like it's a quarterly occurrence. Well, it hasn't happened, and IMO it's an opinion founded on ignorance, a failure to do DD. There is not one damned thing that would suggest that Frost is going to sell or take this place private.
On the sell argument, there is nothing to suggest he would want to sell in the forseeable future. His own words are looking well into 2020 with long acting oxyntomodulin, of which he speaks glowingly.
As for taking it private, that is patently ridiculous. Not only has he never taken his prior enterprises private, but he is the Chairman and CEO, and this is his flagship with all her flags flying. And he uses this platform to acquire smaller companies, or assets of same, whose sellers want to be players in the BIG TIME.
So, yak it up, those of you who only have a hammer and to who everything looks like a nail. But you're barking up one helluva wrong tree this time.
