After reading the link that deborah shouted and I transported here, I find that the author ascribes OPK to the NYSE. Maybe I should have begun with a poll asking our members what exchange OPK is listed upon. (Or maybe not ).

Well, OPK declared moving to the Nasdaq on (imagine this) June 13, 2016. And the move was effective 6/24/16. I'll grant this is a detail. But if somebody is going to opine as an expert on OPK, details matter and give or take away credibility. (More than once I have, in the past, read similar opinions from similar experts that OPK was an Israeli company).

In so far as the author describes options bets, I agree.

Since he goes into a defense of the TASE and dual listing, I disagree.

With the HFT traders and their speed advantages, and the arbitrage players (which are certainly the HFT guys), dual listing does us no favors as mere plankton**.

Those who actually took the time to listen to the egghead Hiam Bodek talk about the fraudulent structure of the market can understand how traders abuse the single country markets, let alone being able to take advantage of time zones, days of operations, and currency (Fx) rigging.

And people wonder why OPK seems to be "manipulated."

And we won't even mention the fact that OPK has WEEKLY options. I don't know if it would be possible, but were I Frost, I'd delist from the TASE and cancel the weekly options thing.

"*The Hiam Bodek expose', BTW, didn't even mention retail traders/investors. His bottom rung of the hierarchy of players in this market was institutional players. We don't even count.
