Not questioning the content of that post, rather the source.

With my stock data, I have news alerts. Something akin to news spam seems to be under foot. I am wondering if you have a news feed/news alerts similar to mine and if you noticed a proliferation of "news" items from a single source which is identified as OOP (aka, Online Publications).

Further, at the bottom at the copyright notice it says Distributed by Newstex, LLC.

This morning, when I started up my services, virtually every stock and index had "news." Looking one by one, I noticed that almost every item was by OOP.

Further, at the heading of the items was a byline with a link to one of a multiple number of web sites or newsletters.

Many of these items also contained a WARNING about copyright infringement going so far as to say one might be reading an item "stolen" from the originating site.

The sheer volume of these things, the warning, the links to newsletters, the fairly uniform content which is mostly about either analysts ratings or investment by unfamiliar entities in the subject stock, makes me wonder what the hell is going on. Zaks is bad enough, but these guys take the cake.
