Luxetvox has requested I post the following which I original wrote on the Yahoo Board in an attempted to demonstrate the foolishness of the "bankruptcy" claims there. There is little actual analysis given the nature of Yahoo, but more a simple statement of facts and opinion:
"1. There are no long term debt payments due for the rest of FY23 or in all of FY24.
2. Opko paid off the $3M of 2033 notes this year.
3. There ais only $212M in note debt remaining. It is due in early FY25
4. The current short term credit line debt is ~$37M. about the lowest it has ever been
5. Total long and short term debt is ~$250M.
6. Opko had ~$138M in cash on hand as of 9/30/23
7. $250 of total debt less $138M of cash on hand leaves a net debt was -$138M.
8. In 2020 Sain Capital valued the Ngenla cash flow stream at ~$2.0B.
9. I think Sain was very high and only count it as ~$1B, or $1.25/share
10. If one values BRL at 1.5X revenue of $0.5B in revenue, BRL is worth $0.75B alone, or $1/share
11. ModeX has a contract with Merck potentially worth $872.5M, let's be conservative and call it $0.5B
12. csl-Vifor has purchase rights on Rayaldee potentially worth $400M let's be conservative and call it $0.25B
13. OPKO owns the IP for 4K Score, nanoparticle vaccine technology, oxyntomodulin, and Factor VIIa-CTP easily worth another $1B.
14. (1+0.75+0.5+.25+1) = $3.5B call it $4.50/share."
