And, last I checked I was pretty sure I knew how to google. But whatever the actual point, if it involves China's thievery, I need no further evidence. 

And yup, many politicians are in China's pockets. It's a problem, and a big one. Half of America is more concerned, no, obsessed, with Taylor Swift's latest outfit at the Chiefs game, even though her knowledge about the very existence of the game of football is about 4 weeks old. Another quarter is blaming Trump for the latest coronal mass ejection. And the remainder thinks Trump actually created the celestial body that provides energy to our planet.

As for slamming our currently mentally impaired POTUS, that opinion is based on way more than his puerile, two dimensional statement about America's greatest adversary, and the most nefarious political regime in history. You see, I've followed Joe for several decades, since he's a local boy, and was always covered on local TV. When he announced that he was running in 2019, I was having dinner with my wife, and we had the news on. I'd never had much of an opinion of him as a politician. After all, being a US Senator from Delaware was about as impactful, or important, to me as the precocious 3rd grader who ran for class president, and won, while everyone else was playing in the schoolyard. But, as soon as Joe finished speaking, I immediately said to my wife: "there's something wrong with him.....he sounded and spoke very differently than I last heard him, in 2016" (before his successful book and speaking tours). I knew that something had changed, and not for the better. As a Senator, his tendency toward bloviating was tempered by his disarming back slapping skills. His tendency for plagiarism and verbal gaffes (remember this... "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy") was well documented. And, by the way, the plagiarism alone was hitherto enough to run him out of contention during a few of his prior 8 or 10 runs at the Presidency.  And, besides the fact that those past sins (including the 90's crime bill) were now absolved because, and only because, Trump was his opponent, it was scary. Because he was indeed running for POTUS, and he was definitely not the same guy I knew, much less present than the old Joe.

I was also watching when he said that moronic thing about China. And the reason that it's important, very important, is the same reason why an actual border, and a big stick, are important. Because, if they're not, you get terror watchlist "folks" coming freely into the US, you have Russia, China, Iran, and N Korea playing bully......and so we have a couple wars now to finance. And heaven help us if some of those aforementioned 'migrants' are feeling their oats one of these days.


Politicians on both sides are cartoon characters nowadays. Trump certainly qualifies, in spades, or perhaps in technicolor. As does Joe. And the get rich quick members of the House and Senate are also looney tunes. I mean, watch any of the Sunday morning "news" shows. Once a month, a supposedly trained 'journalist' is on the edge of his/her seat, waiting for the profound utterances from the mouth of.....AOC.....the most covered influencer, er....ummm, politician in America.



China's a problem. A huge problem. The biggest problem. Cheap shot at Joe? hardly, since his position is the one in all of America that can galvanize support for a plan to combat them. And, make no mistake, it is combat.
