Virginia is for Lovers, and voyeurs too

Sadly Virginia is apparently not for explicit lovers.

"RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Republican David Owen has defeated Democrat Susanna Gibson in Virginia’s House of Delegates District 57 race, according to The Associated Press.

The race for the district, which includes parts of western Henrico and Goochland, was seen as one of the most competitive in Virginia after redistricting.

Owen, who has 17,878 votes to Gibson’s 16,912 as of Wednesday afternoon, declared victory before the AP called the race for him. Despite his victory, Democrats still seized a majority in the House of Delegates to take full control of the General Assembly."

One can compare this race to the Loudoun County Commonwealth Attorney’s election pitting Democrat incumbent Buta Biberaj to man she beat in the last election, Bob Anderson. Prior to his loss four years Bob had been the Commonwealth Attorney for 20 years.

Soros backed Buta Biberaj ran into trouble with her handling of two Loudoun County High School rape cases in which she charged and prosecuted the father of the victim for an outburst and scuffle with a deputy during a school board meeting in which the former school superintendent, Scott Ziegler, lied in an open school board meeting claiming the attack did not happen.

Ziegler was fired by the school board following a Virginia State grand jury investigation for multiple offense. He was convicted of firing a school teacher for speaking out about other assaults in the school system.

Two days after the election it still have not been called. Anderson leads with 66,835 votes while Biberaj is close behind with 65,814. All of the votes currently in hand have been counted but a significant number mail-in ballots were issued, but as yet not returned.

In the meantime the Democrat majority in the State Senate slipped to 21-19 as they lost a vote, but maintained control, while in the House of Delegates the Democrats flipped 3 seats to gained control, 51-49. TV was plastered with pro abortion ads as every Democrat advertisement I saw lamented the overturning of Roe v Wade and insisted women should be able to kill their unborn babies.
