The Synergy From OPKO’s Acquisition of Transition

Couple of thoughts that go beyond these types of articles. LLY let go of TT-401 because it didn't meet their standard for p3 investment. If you look at the GLP-1 space, semaglutide (Novo) is setting the bar for a1c effect/weight loss and has yet to be approved. As a TTHI shareholder, I am pleased Frost bought the company. As of today, however, he hasn't said much about the next steps for 401 (it's early, I know). Although 401 showed promise, it would have been a slam dunk for LLY if it produced more weight loss. The p3 program for sema has involved many studies and thousands of participants. I look forward to Frost providing more color on their plans for 401. I am especially interested in if Frost and company think they can get more weight loss or it has merit where it stands currently.
