Gran Tierra Energy (GTE) falling on debt buy cancellation

couple of things on gte... its a Canadian company not Australian.  Since the post , yes , the share price came down from its high but not because of operations but mainly because of oil price coming down off its highs due to diminished demand caused by China's covid issues and the global threat of recession,   as well as concern about the elections with a far left candidate winning .  While campaigning he declared that he was basically going to tax the stuffing out of oil companies to pay for his social programs.  Since then it has become apparent that he doesn't have the backing of the rest of the government to do so . The tax plan that is in the works now will tax any company that sells oil as an export. GTE sells its product to in country customers , who in turn , sell as an export.  Those exporting will pay the lion's share of the tax as it is proposed but I imagine there will be some decrease in the price GTE will get from those customers to help with the tax burden.  As of today GTE has paid off the  total of a $400 million revolving credit loan, is producing oil at approx 33,000 barrels of oil a day resulting in free cash flow in excess of $90 mil a   quarter.  The share price is now rising again in sync with oil prices with almost 10% today  after the announcement from opec + lowering production in order to stabilize the price of oil.  The company also just completed a new credit agreement even though they have over $90 in cash on hand leading many to believe that new well development is in the future.  Some also speculate that the original buyback program that was dismissed in the past may be also in the works.  Interesting times for this "penny "stock
