NYC Mayor Almost Gets It Right

Iceman, another true life tale related to your post. Just came back from Nueva York.
I was almost denied boarding at MIA because unlike JFK and LGA, I had to produce my ID and Vax card at the gate where normally a boarding pass is all you need and I had temporarily misplaced mine. Once in the City we were denied dinner (despite reservations) when we arrived because this time my properly masked girl friend had left her vax card in the safe at the Hotel. We dutifully walked into restaurants with masks, photo ID and vax cards-- the masks were immediately removed once seated.... Saw a few great shows packed to the rafters, wearing the required mask and  was almost asphyxiated....The funny part was that I thought the mask would protect my delicate facial epidermis....Nope, all I got was steam and heat.
