Eurobio to Distribute OraSure Saliva-Based HIV Test in France

NEW YORK — Eurobio Scientific said on Tuesday that it has acquired the exclusive French distribution rights to OraSure Technologies' OraQuick saliva-based HIV self-test.
OraQuick detects the presence of antibodies characteristic of HIV infections in 20 minutes from a saliva sample and is CE marked, Eurobio said. Through the agreement, the Les Ulis-based company will commercialize the test in France and its overseas territories.
