Prime Minister Frederiksen described the situation as "very, very serious". Danish police and army personnel will help to carry out the mass cull.

Ms Frederiksen cited a government report which said the mutated virus had been found to weaken the body's ability to form antibodies, potentially making the current vaccines under development for Covid-19 ineffective.

If we use the term cull...it makes it easier to read I guess.

I grew up on a small farm...slaughtering animals was a normal thing. Not for fun, but out of necessity (food, old age, sickness, etc).

It is concerning, but we knew it would mutate at some point. It has always been a race to get a vaccine in production before Natural Selection has had a chance to get into effect and mutate with genetic material found in it's host.
