Note that Nanjing is close to Shanghai. And Quangzhou is close to Hong Kong.
Note the obvious "main railway" connections, and the fact that all of these lockdowned cities are in the southeast of China.
Now, just to the south of the Chinese border, along the coast, lies a little country known as Viet Nam. Both are of the Communist persuasion, but the little one, while materially helped during a "conflict" with the US, has never been sanguine about their big neighbor.
And most people are probably not aware that little Viet Nam has some fairly serious oil deposits off their shores.
The crude oil reserves in Vietnam are the second largest in East Asia, behind China, with 4.4 billion barrels, or 630 million tons. Among them, Bach Ho (White Tiger), Rang Dong (Dawn), Hang Ngoc, Dai Hung (Big Bear), and Su Tu Den (Ruby) are the largest oil producing fields in the country.
Not that a civilized country like China would ever envision using bio weapons against another Communist neighbor.
OTOH, might want to watch Viet Nam for news of an "surprise" breakout of 2019-nCoV.
