TSLA: Nothing to See Here, Folks, Move Along

I am currently driving a Ford Focus Hybrid Electric and am very happy with it. Of course I bought it used off a three years lease and am gambling the $5,000 battery will run at least two more years. In the mean time, I get ~20 miles (enough to drive to work and back) every time I plug into a wall outlet for 4 hours, costing ~$0.50 and 40 miles/gallon when running long runs as a hybrid.

I have owned it for 15 months and filled it up exactly 3 times (it came with a full tank), excluding when i drove it to Florida and back. I was putting $20 worth of gas in my Ford ranger every week. Call it $1,000/year with the truck versus $120 of electricity and $150 in gas. At this rate, if I drive it for another 20 years if will be free .
