But seriously, the facts and figures I've repeatedly cited....from LabCorp's $400 million + cash purchase one month earlier of Personal Genome Diagnostics, doing $22 million in revenue; to the very simple math of WGS market cap vs the value Opko shareholders currently enjoy (wink) for the sale of that asset.....these numbers, while they have a fair number of zeros, are clearly too difficult for you to understand. I suggest a new slide rule, or perhaps sticking to the Jay Jay, Joey, Gassy, and Mikie sandbox on Yahoo, in which you seem to thrive. More your speed.

Sema4's business was not closed on the day Katherine Stueland liberated herself and the GeneDx from the greedy hands of Phil Frost, who had clearly been strangling the genomics business in order to pay himself, his three henchmen, and his crony BOD, and throw good money after bad on his gross mismanagement schemes for 4K, Rayaldee, and clinical trials. But then again, since your resume would never make it to my desk, I understand that it's difficult for you to grasp the point of this discussion.

Like everything he has touched in the past 15 years at Opko, Frost infected GeneDx with his virulent potion of incompetence that results in a tsunami of operating losses. The buffoon of biotech must have been enamored of Kate's smile when he agreed to give away his gem. She knew that a bit of polishing could restore the lustre that Frost's pile of detritus was obscuring. 

And, if Kate is successful in generating profits at GeneDx next year, it would just be the nail in the coffin (hopefully) for the business report card of your buddy Phil. He's held onto BioReference for 9 years, incurring hundreds of millions in losses (I'm being merciful to you and your pal in that estimation), save for a few quarters of profits during the pandemic. But I wonder why he wouldn't hold on to his genomics gem for just two more years, and allow Kate to turn it profitable. 

Like all of Phil's Opko escapades since he's been CEO, shareholders got the short end of the stick in this transaction too. I realize that you won't dispute my comparative valuation of WGS vs what we owners received for it, because it violates your good doctor credo. Yup, the figures sure don't lie......$1.30 says it all, don't you think?

I am glad your interns have been able to parse the sentences of my previous post into pieces small enough for you to comprehend so we can finally close the WGS question.  Perhaps you could ask them to explain how a thread works. Given the WGS issue was closed it is time to start a new thread.
