Sure. That then would have been happening back in 1966 when something strange happened over the general vicinity of the University of Michigan campus. There again, it was a big nothingburger. It was so inconsequential, that they brought in a bigIQ scientist to "examine" the source of this nothing...in 1966. A big IQ famous scientist. When they do that, bring in a bigshot to quash some obvious trash....that's the first confirmation it is not a nothingburger.

While sadly I did not witness the phenomenon that occasioned bringing in an official egghead from the gummint to help us, I did know more than a little about the terrain of Ann Arbor, being as how I had already lived there for a couple of years and had a 'cycle. No swamps. And that was the general reaction from the UM student body. In a word, BS.

So, these advanced terrestrial devised machines were here some 55 years ago or so? And our sophisticated tech has yet to identify who on Earth is testing them? Well, they probably were here way before that, but our tech wasn't what it is today. We can listen through window glass from afar. We can see through cement buildings. We can track and copy vehicles in flight. We can identify people on Earth from a satellite in space orbit.

But they still couch things in mushy equivocals like maybe weather balloons.

They know we know. And they know we know that they know we know. Which is why they are now spoon feeding us like we're babes. With all of the crap we've lived through during the last 55 years, not the least of which is a general mistrust of our own government and our media, does it not raise the question: If they meant us harm, would they not have done it by now?

So why keep up the charade? Well, what do governments do besides try to keep us in fear so as to keep us dependent upon their beneficence?
