The Diagnostics division, of which Huff is CEO, will have a shortfall of about 1%, that’s right 1%, in revenue growth for 2018. So, after 21 months on the job, apparently the Chairmn and CEO of LabCorp has shown Mr. Huff the door. Rash judgement or proactive management? We won’t know for a while. But, real companies with pro managers expect results, and take action if those results aren’t achieved. Curiously refreshing, in a Darwinian sort of way.

I would not be surprised if there is more to it than the 1% solution. Who knows if we will ever know? I can think of any number of reasons. And, there's more competition out there, new business models, corporate culture clash.....etc etc. It seems to this amateur that the whole lab business is changing. But I admittedly don't know much about this biz. Just some possibilities. Ma

Remember when BRL's chief got fired? Didn't everyone suspect chicanery, cooking the books, etc. etc.? Everyone said Frpst did not do his due diligence, that he got taken in? Well, is this Hoff incompetence or s it welcome to cooking the books big time?
