Huge verdict against JNJ for: you won't believe---

$72 million verdict against JNJ which a jury found knew talcum powder was carcinogenic!!!  Estate sued for woman who developed ovarian cancer after using talc and Shower to Shower (Valeant) for 35 years. This is talcum powder that babies like me were slathered in and which we "Miamiannes" often use as adults to combat the heat here. If this can happen with  seemingly innocouuous talcum powder (I'm speaking of a finding of liability and huge punitive fines) imagine the risk that every pharma faces for complex drugs. I took myself off Protonix the other day (as did everyone I know who was taking that or similar drugs--Nexium etc.) due to this recent large study which purports to find a very scary link to Alzheimers of over 40%. This is a cost of doing business which the anti-pharma chatter ignores. But this is not an exotic drug for heaven's sake....it's "baby powder"...... I need a drink.
